We have worked with Baheya Foundation Hospital on three scopes: sustainability compliance for the building, a landscape expansion of the campus, and a plan for the hospital's waste from source to disposal.
LEED Gold compliance
Sustainability studies: site and context analysis, including orientation, envelope and facade studies, to reduce running costs and improve human comfort
User experience and efficiency improved through sustainable design implementation
Operational cost reduction: strategies to lower operating costs over the long term
Material and energy analysis: materials, energy consumption and architectural treatments studied for each project element
Landscape expansion
A landscape expansion conceived as a welcoming outdoor extension of the hospital campus. It is designed to support wellbeing and community engagement, and works as a flexible venue for sports activities and public events.

Waste management plan
Waste characterization: assessing waste types and quantities
Primary storage and segregation: estimating waste generation, optimizing healthcare waste segregation and recommending vendors
Internal collection routes: defining collection paths, storage needs and the best central storage locations
In-house treatment: proposing treatment solutions, unit locations and waste stream management
Disposal strategy: recommending specialized companies for waste disposal
